General strike paralyzed Cochabamba for weeks

After months of unrest, Bechtel was expelled and the contract canceled.

it seems to always be these two and i suspect that's why nokings is a thing -- it's a pressure valve that tightly controls the steam coming out of the first part to ensure that the second part will never happen.

capitalism's ability to subsume progressiveness and make it part of its gestalt is really impressive sometimes.

Occupy Wallstreet got co-opted. This is why the vanguard is important.

it's funny that you mention occupy wallstreet because it had an appearance in the epstein files and i was going to add in something the effect of the epstein class adapting strategies like sponsoring nokings in my previous comment.

also -- if the social media influencers' interpretations are right -- the way they talk about occupy wallstreet in the epstein files suggested that they were directly responsible for co-opting it since it was discussed in the context of getting a handle on the metoo movement before it became unmanageable for them like occupy wallstreet did somehow.
