Recently finished The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by S.A. Chakraborty. Rocking pirate adventure in a magical Earth, with a dash of family ties and middle-aged-ness. I enjoyed it.
About to start Way Station by Clifford D. Simak.
Tried When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill, but couldn't get into it. Mostly a coming-of-age / mother relationship (somewhat reminded me of White Oleander). Expected more dragon.
