Wouldn't it make sense to put "reels" on Pixelfed instead of having a TikTok alternative? (lemmy.zip)

Given that Pixelfed is designed as an Instagram alternative, it seems like it'd make more sense to just put the short-form videos on there.

IMHO they are trying to replicate pre-enshitified version of instagram when there were actually great photographers and artists.
