on the web, I came across the ReveriePaint app, it's kind of like krita, only for mobile devices🤩 https://github.com/LanRhyme/ReveriePaint

Thanks for posting, will check out. Interesting project to use Krita underneath.

Easy on those emojis though. Almost didn't read, we don't need more of those.

emotes sparingly, but emojis are awful in forum discussions. Always have been.

But now its either one of two things: the keyboard is just recommending them and people click them so they are meaningless, or AI added it. Either way, they are annoying and pointless. That is what words are for.

I see emojis, I see lazy and/or AI.

I respectfully disagree. They're useful for conveying tone or emotion without needing to be wordier to do so. You say it's lazy, but I see efficiency. If you're annoyed, it's because you personally see reason to be annoyed. They're not objectively annoying. Some people are obnoxious with it, sure, but that's not the fault of the emojis themselves. Take it easy, man 🙂

From: Scott E Fahlman I propose that the following character sequence for joke markers: :-)

Read it sideways. Actually, it is probably more economical to mark things that are NOT jokes, given current trends. For this, use

I hope the formatting works if you are on mobile.

I see how you might confused, but mine isn't sideways, and it doesn't have a nose, see? 🙂

    I'm being dead serious :-(

Cool. Which means you emji means nothing to me, I have no idea what you are saying with it or why is is there. Did your keyboard suggest it then?
