I like it because I'm a huge nerd for the victorian era and I think the historical flavour stuff is really well fleshed out, but I do accept that a lot of the game mechanics are janky and unclear!

My problems aren't generally with the mechanics themselves since I like Vicky 2, my big problem is that the UI is too minimalist so that it obscures information. Like I said I like EUV which uses a very similar system but things tend to be a good bit clearer.
