Did... you... not remember our last conversation?

Edit: I'm kind of hurt.

No, you owe an actual explanation for your support of Putin.

I support democracy, and that aligns in the Donbass secession after the coup

Explain how you oppose democracy more than this Emanuel Goldstein boogieman you're so worked up about.

I also love seeing fascists get rekt. Watching Chechens stack Azov Battalion corpses like cordwood on the streets of Mariupol was epic.

    😗👌

But why do you support Putin? He's worth what, $200 billion? If he's that rich, and Russians are poorer than Americans, it's pretty obvious he doesn't give two shits about Russians.

I don't support Putin, regardless of your wild claims.

I support democratic secession in the Donbass after a coup.

I support healthcare as a right also. If Trump miraculously decides to enact Medicare For All that doesn't make me a Trump supporter, but corporate Dems would sure try making that connection.

Democracy is a very simple principle.

But you support his invasion into Ukraine?

The Donetsk and Luhansk Peoples Republics, Crimea, stopped being "Ukraine" the moment Banderites stormed the capitol. They're not serfs.

People have a right to exist, not nations.

So you support his violent means to attempt to take land to destroy nations?

The violent means began with a U.S. bankrolled fascist coup.

But yeah, fuck nations. Fascism is the inevitable conclusion to all nationalism.

    Destroy all nations.

Ok, so I know you keep repeating the exact same thing every single time, but I do find it absolutely hilarious (like comedic) that a "U.S. bankrolled fascist coup" that led to 108 protestors and 13 government enforcers dying is how you justify 2,000,000 casualties (amongst both sides) in the invasion of Ukraine. Like come on dude, that is some insane mental gymnastics. I know for a fact, from Russian immigrants to the U.S., that Russians have an extremely complex view of their country, and socially cannot express anything except nationalist views.

But my question remains unanswered: why do you support Putin's extreme measures, yet claim to not support Putin?

There's not much in this world worth killing and dying for, but the democratic right of self determination seems to be one of them.

At least, that's what I was taught growing up by civics teachers in American public schools.

You've obviously never had to make that choice, but you seem to think you can for other people.

Are you talking about how Nazi symbology is banned in Russia? What's censored?

No, I'm talking about how Vladimir Putin caused so much death, and you cannot dissent from agreeing with Putin's policies of death.

Is Putin in the room with you right now?

    I have a better respose.

    He might be.

Putin killed Russians to get into power. He murdered Russian citizens who opposed him or became a threat. He made 1,500,000 Russians soldiers die fighting for something that wasn't his.
