I wouldn't know what to vote for, tbh. As a citizen I'm still eligible to vote even from abroad, so I check the party programs and also follow local news regularly, and it's been a steady race to the bottom on all accounts. Initially at least the Greens were a reliable choice, but nowadays they suck as well.
The Greens suck less than the others. Or vote Die Linke for funsies. The AfD and the CDU deserve them as opposition.
Yeah, "suck less than the others" is exactly what I mean with race to the bottom. I shouldn't be forced to vote the lesser evil, but the better option.
Left and Right are equally disqualifying factors for me, I dislike radicalism. Which leaves maybe the SPD, but their candidates are all imbeciles.
So I could vote for Piraten or Die Partei, but let's face it - they have just about as much power as Graue Panther or Centrum.
Next election do a Wahl o mat, just because a party is the "furthest on the spectrum" to the left or right doesn't mean they're radical.
I mean, some "conservatives" (ahem) consider anyone who isn't a right wing lunatic a communist radical.
