I always kinda wanted an EasyBakeOven (or QueasyBakeOven to get around the annoying gender stereotypes)
Also had the Baskin' Robbins Ice Cream maker but my stupid mother wouldnt let me use it for some reason. Like she made it seem like she needed to be involved for me to use it and she wouldnt make herself available for that -> defacto unusable by fiat

People didn't burn the house down. They're burn themselves being children and stupid. They'd put fingers into the oven and burn fingers on the hot bulb. Because it has to be pretty hot to actually cook with the heat from a bulb. They'd keep making the bulb cooler to try and stop kids burning themselves, which meant the food took forever to cook. So they just got rid of the line.
