    For someone not familiar with the person's name/face identity and situational context already, no it wasn't, yours was an (accurate) editorial but didn't explain the basics of who/why the crying face.

    kyle rittenhouse was in court for murdering 2 protestors, and he had to make a fake crying to draw sympathy from the jurors, unfortunately it worked , because the court case was rigged from the start.

    after that the right wing grift circuit tried to recruit him as another pundit, but he failed so badly he is been largely ignored.
