It's not a race
You can be loves even if you don't love yourself.
Self trust is just as important as self love
It took a therapist telling me I could get better for me to actually believe it.
Practice boundaries and while discussing them is fine, never get to the position of letting them be debated
going in to fight or flight mode is not a failure, and breathing exercises can help you come out of it before you do something you regret
also, it's better to practice those breathing exercises BEFORE you need them lol
Too many people don't understand this. They just expect me to be "normal," as if I can just magically choose to do that.
It's not my fault they weren't surrounded by toxic people growing up and never learned what that does long-term to one's psyche!
