It's usual fascism playbook. Once their oppression is met with any (justified) resistance, they have an excuse to "restore law & order" by being even more oppressive. Which is yet another big escalation milestone by a fascist regime. You probably can't turn this around anymore.

Even the LAPD said the protests were peaceful. The fucking LAPD of all organizations. That's how outrageously out of line this reaction is.

All they needed was an excuse. No matter what happened, no matter how peaceful this went the US government was always gonna escalate.

Make them all fear ever being out in public again. Conferences, speaking engagements, etc. - doxx their home addresses. Burn down any and all buildings and facilities they're associated with. If they aren't going to play by the rules, neither should we.
