Nope, all posts to a .ml comm will be cross-posted to the nearest relevant non-.ml comm as-is and in full (in most cases)

However, non-.ml comm posts will just get an upvote from me and only crossposted if I feel it fits a more niche comm as well

I'm cross-posting content from .ml comms to the nearest non-.ml comm as part of ongoing boycotting efforts to reduce .ml's influence to make defederation an easier decision for admins everywhere because of the .ml admins insistence to push their Tankie ideology through various means from censorship of views critical of Authoritarian regimes such as Russia or China (and even criticism of the right-wing)to allowing propaganda outlets (such as RT) to flourish

Blender 4.4 brings improved animation workflow, better modeling, new sculpt brush, and smoother video editing, plus over 700 issues fixed.

It introduces Action Slots, revolutionizing animation workflows by letting multiple data-blocks share a single Action. The Video Sequencer continues to improve with quality-of-life upgrades for text editing, expanded support for codecs including H.265 and 10/12-bit videos, and performance improvements that make editing faster than ever.

And much more…

It's not just people with different viewpoints, the admins are actively pushing an authoritarian agenda and censor any dissent against those views. And I have a bunch documented on that comm of the shenanigans they get up to. .ml is more subtle about things than the rest of the Tankie Triad (Hex and Grad) to avoid larger calls of defederation, but they absolutely share the same Authoritarian "ideology"

I tagged them last year as a "FUD/Misinfo spreader", every encounter with them has an 80% chance of reinforcing the tag lol

The EU will not rip up its tech rules in an attempt to reach a trade deal with Donald Trump, the bloc’s most senior official on digital policy has said.

Henna Virkkunen, the European Commission vice-president responsible for tech sovereignty, indicated the EU was not going to compromise on its digital rulebook to reach an agreement on trade with the US – a key demand of Trump administration officials.

“We are very committed to our rules when it comes to the digital world,” Virkkunen said in an interview with European newspapers, including the Guardian. “We want to make sure that our digital environment in the European Union … that it is fair and it’s safe and it’s also democratic.”

The actual food and service is probably only maybe a couple hundred to a couple thousand/plate

The rest of the price is the "donation". The tactic itself is not bad, many charities and fundraisers do the same thing, charge a hundred or 2 (if it's an event for us pleebs) per person for food and the event and the rest is your donation.

What the donation is for is the problem here

That's just par for the course for the lemmy.ml admins, here I did a small write up with additional evidence in response to another user on the dedicated thread for these screenshots I made on !meanwhileongrad@sh.itjust.works

I hope its active enough in the Lemmy-verse to support it, I always considered that kind of comm to almost require a large amount of people to make it useful

Then again, the Lemmy-verse is full of nerds soooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Eh maybe maybe not, sometimes it's an opportunity to get them to spill more that others will see than they might have. That's why I did my best to ensure to keep calling back to the real point, .ml's crap

As far as the whole comic thing goes, that's genuine, fuck the Israeli government and trying to conflate any and all criticism against them as "anti-Semitism"
