Rule 1: posts have the following requirements:

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
Rule 6: Memes, spam, other low effort posting, reposts, misinformation, advocating violence, off-topic, trolling, offensive, regarding the moderators or meta in content may be removed at any time.
Rule 7: We didn't USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Ukraine is being treated unfairly and the USA don’t seem to care about that…why should other countries keep giving and giving to an administration that lies, causes grief, and tells everyone else to go jump. It’s called give and take. Everyone else in the world is already suffering high prices due to Iran and they consider that acceptable….i could continue.

Infectious disease spreading and evolving is bad for all of us regardless of the country.

At a Cabinet meeting Wednesday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “We cannot and will not allow any cases of Ebola to enter the United States.”
If they want to enter the US and if they hold citizenship, I think that that may violate case law that a US citizen may not be denied entry to the US.

The federal government can hold US citizens in quarantine upon reentry, in the US. There's certainly precedent there. But I don't think that it can constitutionally say "you may not enter the US" to a citizen.

Great way to get American citizens exposed to Ebola travelling to the US to not inform anybody about it.
The administration has maintained that shorter flight times to Europe are the reason why Americans who get Ebola will be sent there for care.
That seems... Plausible. But after the state department told Americans abroad in the middle East to "fend for yourself" when Trump started a war it's questionable.

I think the premise is that Ebola cases are currently only in Africa, so if a US citizen catches it, that means they’re already across the Atlantic Ocean and, yes, Europe would be closer.
The only American who has tested positive so far, a surgeon who had been working at a Congo hospital, was flown to Germany.
Funny how they can work that out when it comes to their citizens who are ill needing fast treatment but POTUS and Hegseth are too stupid to work out that's the same reason they have Ramstein in Germany as part of their NATO deployment.
