I updated my vocab just now. Bye-bye - "worse than useless".

"Well this directly goes against the scripture but we shouldn't listen to it this time"

okay saying "republicans are hypocrites" isn't exactly news on hexbear.net but wtf they're not supposed to just up and say it like this

I think they're "post-mask". They've starting living mask off 24/7. They revel and rejoice in their awfulness. And I think for many American Christians (however devout) being a Christian is just a lifestyle brand. It allows them to be racist, hateful, misogynistic, homophobic, etc. And they have what they strongly believe is a perfect excuse. They just need to say use magic excuse words like: "As a Christian...".

  • As a Christian I don't believe gay people should be allowed to get married.

  • As a Christian I believe in traditional roles for men and women.

  • I believe in our Savior Jesus Christ so I don't think Muslims kids should be in our public schools. We are a Christian nation.

  • I'd welcome a trans person to my church. As long as they detransitioned first. Love the sinner but hate the sin.

  • The Jews killed Jesus. It's in the Bible. I try to forgive them but it's hard.

---

Off the top of my head I can't think of an excuse for them to be racist to black people. But I'm sure they could google and copy stuff off the net for that situation or any situation.

They did, they just agree with the priest and the levite in that story, not the samaritan

AND rthe democrats, to add to the title, like, they had all the power but were "forced"

[–] Mindfury@hexbear.net 16 points 3 days ago

the clear answer to this is to bellow "REPENT, BLASPHEMER" before shooting this dweeb in the face

teeheeing about the hypocrisy achieves nothing. applying their own belief set to them directly and kinetically does

Leftists: “We’re supposed to help people.”

Religious dogmatists: “We’re supposed to help OUR people!”
