how to install espeak-ng voices on Android? (piefed.blahaj.zone)

I installed espeak-ng from f-droid, and when I opened it the UI shows "0 voices installed."

Going back to the source, there are a hundred or so voice files in the data directory, but I have no idea how to make them available to the app.
