[–] HeartyOfGlass@piefed.social 1 points 3 days ago

[–] darkmogool@feddit.org 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

According this list: I'm not white

[–] gmtom@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

For England:

  • alright mate
  • calm down
  • are you havin' a laugh?
  • u wot?
  • listen, knobhead
  • u fuckin' wot mate?

Are you havin a laugh is criminally underrated

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Lol. This isn't white people, it's old people.

[–] Return_of_Chippy@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

Alright bucko

[–] salty_chief@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago (6 children)

I’ve been white for 45 years now and have never heard anyone use any of these. I have seen racist people on TV use these terms to label them as white people terms. I mean racism is racism no matter skin color.

[–] ImgurRefugee114@reddthat.com 27 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I've heard all of these lots... Regional differences? They're certainly popular in entertainment too

And the "white anger" bit is clearly a joke

[–] Return_of_Chippy@lemmy.world 15 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

You're in the minority. Also, racial humor and racist humor are two different things.

[–] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

  4. Not cool.
  5. Dude, what the fuck
  6. Major vibe clash, you should chill with your other friends today.
[–] stylusmobilus@aussie.zone 10 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

[–] stylusmobilus@aussie.zone 2 points 1 week ago

At least the feeling is justified, then.
