Reposting this in case anyone out there honestly thinks they should have any measure of sympathy for this monster, who apart from celebrating dead schoolkids, partied at the White House while 10,000,000 Americans were kicked off food stamps during the 2025 government shutdown.

He's actually one of my senators, which is why I saved the photo originally. It's just quite appropriate to remember these bastards today too.

Yes, it does, I really want to move but I like my job.

Damn, and here I am getting rejected or just not hearing back because everyone says they're hiring but in reality they're just saying they are.

I actually applied at Taco Bell, and wasted a day and a half of my time filling out online and paper applications, only to be told two days later when I called that they're not actually hiring even though it says they are.

So ridiculous that it looks like AI

I wish very much that it was fake, but yes, this is how most of our legislators party when ten million people are about to be kicked off food stamps.

What makes you think that ?

This is why I would vote to have all reps be sequestered during a shutdown. No fundraising, no fancy brunches, no visiting your mistress, no podcasting.

Can we have some dialog please?

I wasn't criticizing any lack of info. Just thought it'd be funny to invent some.

The other user is probably referring to the support for Ukraine.

[–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Ah, didn't realize that. Thank you for clarifying.

I had a different kind of fun:
Since your spies didn't get appropriately compensated for four months, we had time to reassess which spies served your empire, and cleaned house.

So thank you Trump, for gifting the world a much needed break from your surveillance abroad.
