True, but Israel are killing innocent people in various countries on a much larger scale so I see Iran as the lesser of two evils here.
Iran has been murdering innocent people for years, are surpressing and abusing women on a regular basis, are supplying Russia with weapons used to kill innocent people in Ukraine as Ukraine is innocent itself. There is no lesser of 2 evils, there are just 2 evils and loads of innocent and pointless casualties. Fuck Israel and fuck Iran.
Well there’s certainly a double standard as Saudi Arabia gets more of pass then Iran does for their atrocities against innocent people.
Do I support Iran wholeheartedly? No.
Do I support Iran defending itself against Israel? Absolutely I do.
Look how the double standard extends to nuclear weapons, it’s widely believed that Israel made nuclear weapons when they were not allowed so it’s only natural Iran might want to defend against these Zionist lunatics.

It is their right to defend themselves. I just condemn all violence over there. I'm well aware Israel is the agressor. But to cheer for a nation as evil as Iran is dangerous.

Just because nations like the US have double standards doesn't mean we as a person should do too. No one should have nukes in the first place.
You know that gay people are treated like shit in all Muslim countries, right? Including Gaza.
Just because other countries are doing it too, doesn't make Iran less evil. It was just an example of one of the many evil sides of Iran. My point is to never cheer for evil. Even if they are killing each other. It costs countless amounts of innocent lives. Fuck war, fuck Israel, fuck Iran.
What did they hit?
Palestine is/was a not-quite-nation-state kept mostly under Israel's thumb for decades. October 6 was a wild moment but it was probably the hardest hit Hamas could muster after years of prep. Iran is one of the prime centers of power in the middle east, a nation state with enough economic and political power to have a nuclear program, and who was mostly staying out of things regarding the Palestinians. Regardless of the ethical considerations, I can't see how opening this second front with a much more powerful enemy could be a good idea for Israel.
It keeps a certain politician out of jail.
