All my notification settings are on in both Summit and on my phone for the app. But getting a message in my inbox doesn't trigger a notification on my phone or any indication of a new message in the app.

I also don't know if I should be getting any other notifications, since I received none what so ever.

I never had push notifications turned on, but I've noticed for a few weeks that I never see the in-app notification dot on the inbox anymore.

I see I'm not alone. I don't have notifications turn on, but have not been getting the in-app indication for the inbox for idk how long now. Been meaning to make a post about it but always slipped my mind.

Similar problem with me. I do get notifications about messages in my inbox... but they only appear when I open the app, which is... not very useful, given that I was probably about to check my inbox anyway.

Came here to make the same post. Same issue here, but not sure how long it's been going on (but I think at least a few weeks). Notifications are enabled in the app in general and for my account, and notification permissions for the app are also enabled.

I download from F-Droid and have had other F-Droid apps not do push notifications because they don't ship with Google play services or whatever. Maybe that's related? Or maybe it's a GrapheneOS thing. Neither may apply to you, though.

Neither applies to me unfortunately.
