IG gives me the wildest zio ads along with other fascists and grifters. Total trash.

Reading the ad’s comments gave me immeasurable hope for the future tho - ain’t nobody except the most lost in the sauce reactionaries/zionists are buying the Likud/Khanist narratives being pushed.
Best is not to use the platform but if you do, then the best thing to do is; use a tweaked version.
One that removes the ads and gives more settings to tweak.
For iOS you can check EthMods Telegram channel and find the tweaked version and then install them through SideStore sideloading.
Any patches for Android?
Unfortunately I don’t have knowledge about Android tweaks but I’m almost certain there is one.
affordable housing but it's in genocided land, whose monkey paw did this
I mean, from a Birds Eye view by that description it could be Canada
Most Americans see nothing wrong with this
the majority of Americans don't support israel. it's a superwealthy minority who dictates policy. the issue is too many americans have been propagandized to believe they have no power, no voice
You are underestimating support Israel has among general public
Just BC Lemmy and Reddit don't like the genocide it doesn't mean that normal American also doesn't.
There are parts of the country where they celebrate it.
That’s American, Jewish voters surveyed last fall. 68% support land swaps, an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, Palestinian return from the diaspora, and financial/population restitution.
A lot of regular people get swept up into the default of supporting the concept of Israel and protecting the lives of the 6-7 million Jews living there, but the topic has so many land mines and risks of misunderstanding that people don’t delve into the topic openly. But if you look for it, there’s a lot of silence from folks who are uneasy about the direction Israel is headed.
Well that silence enables the genocide...
Never again but here we be 🤡
A lot of regular people get swept up into the default
this is the terrifying thing about hegemony. the ruling class uses it to convince people to think things are normal that aren't. racism is only 400 years old. across the globe societies had trans and non binary people until colonialism arrived in their place. so called "barter" societies that predated currency weren't using resources in inefficient systems of trade, they were just sharing with eachother because compassion and love for our neighbors is far more default and natural to us than religious leaders want you to think.
i know there are. that doesn't change the fact that only 46% of americans support israel. not a majority. i'm not using lemmy as my basis, i'm using the best most up to date data available, and that indicates a majority of americans do not support israel
Where did you get the 46% percent from?
https://news.gallup.com/poll/657404/less-half-sympathetic-toward-israelis.aspx
Gallup get 46% Israeli support in response to the question "In the Middle East situation, are your sympathies more with the Israelis or more with the Palestinians?" Palestinians get 33%.
Thanks for sharing!
It actually surprises me to see 46/33. Gut feel, I would have put it closer to 60/20.
Depends how you phrase the question. If you ask people "do you think the nation of Israel has a right to exist" (are you a Zionist) it probably would be closer to 60%.
Plenty of "Zionists" (in the non-slur sense) are sympathetic to both parties. It's just that internet discourse on the subject has become so radicalized and binary that it gets lost in the conversation.
Most Americans ignore any ad they see online. So they wouldn't even care about this.
