Today, because my car is green π
I actually hate the attention it gets, but I'm poor and it was cheap. Never seems like a good idea to me if other drivers can easily remember you. On the other hand, I can always find it in a big parking lot.

Every day. But I'm living in one of the most show off cities in the US. There is no day without spotting a 200k+ car.
Wraps, plasti-dips are really really common. And actually doing a full paint job is relatively cheap also
Same but im also in a VERY car centric city. They dont always look good here haha.
Nope h the question of "why would they pay for that?" Comes often to my mind.
I just saw a pearl white wrapped tesla. It had a very very light pink sheen to it, it was basically 99% white...
Probably at a racetrack a year or so ago, but out on the street? No idea. Even reds are getting kinda rare. It's supremely boring.
I remember so many colors on the road. Greens. Oranges. Pinks. Navy. Teal. Yellows. All manner and shade of purple. Now it's just. . . Bleh.
My aunt earned a Mary Kay pink Cadillac, and we were all so proud of her. I think people would crap themselves if they saw a pink car on the road nowadays.
It's like the world doesn't have a soul anymore.
According to KBB, green is making a comeback.

I'm from the UK and recently was in Toronto so rented a car to get around and also to drive to Montreal. We will observed that all the cars were very limited in colours. Is it a North American thing?
In the UK, it has been getting less diverse but still a fair bit of variety
Same experience here. White cars are increasingly common as apparently they have the highest resale value. Quite boring.
It's funny, because I just made a comment about this in another thread.
There the OP was asking if people today are less 'vibrant' than they were a few years ago.
Not only are cars getting duller, the streets are losing vibrancy.
The best street performers of the past are now online. You used to happen upon a great comic or musician at random, playing in a park or mall.
Saturday, the last time I took my car out on the road. However, the point is taken, we specifically wanted one of the nicer colors for our car. The dealer was a bit unhappy with us, as we walked into the dealership and said, "we want this vehicle, at this trim level,. in this color." Ultimately, we got the car we wanted at one trim level higher, in the color we wanted. We were already paying ~$60k for the vehicle, the extra $2k to go up a trim level was a small enough jump that we decided to take the car, rather than wait longer for special order. And, if I'm fully honest, I'm actually glad we got the higher trim level. Some of the extra features were very nice to have.
Had we wanted white, we could have driven off the lot with a vehicle the same day. But ya, fuck dull colors. Sure, I recall reading that the dull colors have better resell value, but that's not something I worry about. We use a car as a tool, not an investment. We've already paid the car off and we plan to drive it into the ground. And I'd much rather have the car I want to drive, rather than min/max a couple thousand out of it at some far distant date, maybe.
My theory of because of the rental fleet to used car lots flow. Rental fleets will buy newer cars, then sell them back to the dealerships so they can sell them as used cars. It's much easier to sell generic coloured cars, than highlighter piss yellow
Saw a yellow sports car on Saturday. My wife has a bright green Fiesta.
Thereβs an orange Subaru at my work, along with a couple of baby-blue Broncos with white tops. Those broncos are pretty stylish, tbh.
My partner and I drive a bright green Chevy Bolt EV ("Shock" is the official name of the color) and we love the smiles we sometimes get.
Cars have gotten so bland and boring, like new construction homes. Just plain, boring, and more expensive than ever.
I see a couple yellow cars every day. There's a lime one and a dark purple one in my neighborhood. Also, a black one with pink accents and eyelashes over the headlights. Still, the weirdest one I've seen recently was an iridescent pink with a yellow sheen.
metallic green, about a week ago
I saw a vintage burnt orange Oldsmobile yesterday, but not on the street
Most car dealerships only stock black, white, silver or grey.
I walked into our showroom the other day and it was very reminiscent of Henry Fords βany colour, as long as itβs blackβ. There were also two silver cars and one dark blue car hidden in the back, as if it was ashamed of itself.
I drive a tan car. My niece drives a mint green car. There are two jungle green Zeekrβs in our street but every single other car is monochrome.
I saw yellow today, and I see them often enough to make a little game out of it.
I was just talking about the number of cars that seem to be garden utensil green / brown these days.
I see a beat up old lime green Hilux around where I live with a big βThe Swordβ sticker on the aide window of the camper. I want to have a beer and listen to good metal with the owner.
I see green and orange Subarus. There's an iridescent pink Tesla in my neighborhood. Those colors aren't as common as the black and white ones mentioned above.
Once of my sisters has a... what is it called... champagne (I think) colored SUV. One of my brothers has a bright green car, like a kiwi lime color. Another brother has a 2 tone car that's half orange half black.
I've got a dark blue myself, but if I could afford a paint job it would without a doubt be a nice yellow. Like a dandelion kind of shade. I absolutely looooove the color yellow.
I see a Tuscadero (Metallic Pink) Jeep Wrangler about every other day on my way home from work. Always puts a Smile in my face.
I miss colorful cars.
I bought my 2008 Honda Fit in orange in Jan of 08 and gave it to my niece who turned 16 this spring. I took over my wife's blue car as she wanted something with AWD. It's a nice blue, but it's a lot harder to pick my car out in a lot these days.
At least it is Nardo Gray.
Yesterday! But I've been trying to just look around more. There's an orange car often, and some pink ones. Also trucks like to be green. Or stripped!
Saw and orange ugly ass Mazda yesterday, and disgusting lime green Tesla truck, and neon pink Tesla, a hunter green vw bug. But god help me the βtrendyβ color in my state right now that absolutely makes me want to gag is Khaki.
Maybe itβs due to being in LA, but Iβve seen plenty of bright colors, an iridescent finish once or twice, and occasionally Angeline Pink.
There's a Smart that looks like a cozy coupe that I see fairly often! Also my car is black at white instead of just a solid color. That's mostly because I've had to replace the bumpers after an accident.
Lets see.
Green just tonight. Had a weird light kit, so I triple looked
Before that, last I was out of the house was..... Friday? Thursday? Anyway, a yellow mustang was in the line at the drugstore.
Haven't seen purple in ages. Orange? I wanna say a few months ago. Old vw beetle.
Pink? Last time I saw that was maybe ten, fifteen years ago. Somewhere in that range. It stuck in memory because it was a lifted pickup.
That's on the road though. As in I was out driving and they were either doing the same, parked at a business or home, or at a car sales place. I don't think car shows count, otherwise I would say I've seen every damn color out there a few months ago driving past one.
Truth is that factory paint colors are picked by what sells. And most people don't want yellow and orange. Purple, I'm kinda surprised it isn't an option more often
