I spent half the day fighting with 2 printers.. why do we even have 2 if neither one works? Ugh

I am back from vacation. It was awesome. Except I caught a cold and everything hurts.

The minimum for today is "get the garbage to the curb". This didn't use to be my chore. Husband use to do all garbage related stuff. But husband has cerebral palsy. And the entropy of time comes for us all. So he can take the garbage to the curb...but he couldn't get back without a cane or walker. So I take it out.

Sinuses bad. Fever annoying. I'm making pasta for lunch with rehydrated mushrooms in the sauce.

I spent the day outdoors at a therapy thing, it's like a week long course about nature and mental health and it was great and so on.. They just didn't give us enough food, not like at all. We were supposed to eat by fire and I was told that I don't need to bring anyhting myself, so I didn't. Now I'm home, hungry and tired, just trying to calm down enough so I can eat. Gotta leave earlier tomorrow so I can buy and bring my own food. I did tell the dudes hosting it that it wasn't enough food, but they said it was normal amount and that it's normal to get hungry outdoors.. Well, yeah? The other people answered for me that they're hungry too and it was not enough food, so it wasn't just me. But the nature is pretty, changing colors and all, so it's alright. Just gotta bring my own snacks..

I found out about Thomas' Infancy Gospel today 😬😁🙂

Offered me some perspective and distance to my life, the religion I grew up with and seemingly live in, seemed like an unescapable cult often.

What a story btw described in the Infancy Gospel, I had an idea, however wow. Did not expect the manner in which Jesus, according to that gospel, killed children.

I'm aware it is non-canonical and I have yet to find out more context to confirm accuracy. However that gospel seems possible to me. Past days I wondered whether Jesus ever killed someone and had a feeling of: yes. According to the Infancy Gospel: yes (as an infant).
