I don't think every instance does on lemmy, but I also don't really know for sure. They work here on sh.itjust.works

    It's been a long while since I had a Lemmy account, but Lemmy definitely has PFPs, I remember having one defined back then. Since I don't have a Lemmy to check the exact settings path, I looked up the lemmy-ui source code (since I used to be a Web developer and I somehow manage to try and visualize an UI solely from its source-code), and the option to upload a new PFP is somewhere within the "user settings" session of the settings, although I see there's the possibility for a Lemmy instance to disable either PFPs or images in general (which will consequently disable PFPs), in which case the avatar uploader will be grayed out. (Not the case for your instance, though, as I found reddthat accounts with a PFP upon searching for your instance).
