How many are made from a single equation? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] lacethespace@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 days ago It's easy to fuse and compose multiple equations into one. You can take this to extreme to represent any bitmap with a single large equation. When you zoom into bitmap the pixels are revealed. In same way, zooming into this procedural image would reveal limitations, it only looks good at resolution it was designed at. The nice thing about it is that the math partially captures and models the reality. Clouds are turbulent so the math model for them is made with turbulence. It's a great hobby. permalink fedilink source parent
