Healthcare is a social right, not a privilege to be rationed by corporate insurers and canceled by government fiat. The fight against the assault on social programs cannot be separated from the fight against the capitalist profit system.

Surely, kicking 760,000 people off of health insurance will improve the economy and won't accelerate the health insurance death spiral:

and then theres the hordes of people that had to drop thier plans because the shutdown ended with the enhanced subsidies too last year, which damaged the DNC further, because they agreed to end it early.

    Thats the goal.

"Look! Government insurance is broken! We must change to a 100% private system!!"

Uh, it's already a private system. Even with Medicare and Medicaid. They're just government assistance programs that send people to private providers and private pharmacies.

We do have a proper government-run healthcare system, though: The Veterans Administration. They have their own doctors and hospitals and vastly greater efficiency than the best private hospitals/insurance.

Insurance works by the health majority paying in enough to cover the sick who need the care (not including the money going to greedy fucks making record profits off the premiums).

So if they kick people off who have “never filed a claim” they’re kicking the ones off who are helping support the whole thing.

Bet the plan is to claim the government can’t subsidize the cost anymore because there’s too many sick people, and shut it down.

funny enough it also increase the cost for the ones still on the insurance, because theres less people paying into it now. the deductibles nad OOP are designed to discourage people from using the insurance chronically in pratice.

Or as Kevin Kruse puts it:

This is like accusing someone of robbing a bank because they deposited money and never withdrew it

Their vile lies wouldn't work if their constituency weren't so irredeemably stupid.

Corporations and the people who run them don't care about your well being at all. They care about you giving them all your resources. Find some friends and defend yourselves.

Conservatives are PURE evil. Never forget how evil they are when they have any amount of power at all.

The only thing that brings a conservative any joy is the suffering of the vulnerable.

    Disown conservatives. Permanently.

I only hope that an unusually high number of Trump voters are affected by this.
