Are we more worried that this nonsense collapses the global economy before this nonsense destroys the fabric of our social society before this nonsense lands a laser-guided smart munition on your personal residence before this nonsense rat-fucks all free elections forever before this nonsense uses up all the viable fresh water source before this nonsense pumps out enough thermal energy to destroy what's left of the biosphere...

Or, are we just worried that, even after watching the Terminator franchise, some cunt is going to stick a shotgun on the back of that Boston Dynamic robot dog and tell ChatGPT too kill whoever it wants?

    Just wanted to say: try not to blame AI for the upcoming crash.
    They manipulated the market using marketing for AI, selling empty promises: it is not the aimless random output machine's fault.
    It is just a tool being used as a smoke screen so no one will blame big money for what they intentionally caused to happen.

    The prompt machines are without agency - it isn't responsible for the human greed that builds these data centers. It isn't responsible for the water they use to keep it going - that's again human intention and greed - AI doesn't deserve being the villain because it is just zeros and ones and not a person.

    ai is turning into a scapegoat that westerners chose to blame instead of laying the blame on the people who wield it to these ends and it feels very american to attack the mask rather than ever spend time considering the face behind it.

    I like bow everything is the AIs fault. The loss of hobs: AI. The too expensive tokens: Ai. AI hacking systems, AI causing people to go vrazy. The datacenters, ram, gpu everything is blamed on AI.
    And not the real culprit: Human greed. Nothing what's going on is the AI's fault. It is a box that does nothing without a human.
