Now that's a proper shitpost. Just stellar work.
At least it's vegan
Sadly, no. The smallest livestock, yeast, were used to make the bread.
Is yeast actually a problem for vegans?
No, only because they ignore the fact they're elitist, speciesist bastards. If honey isn't vegan, then yeast ought not to be.
Isn't yeast kind of it's own thing, kinda halfway between bacteria and fungi? Honey is very clearly an animal byproduct.
Yeasts are fungi. And fungi, genetically, have more in common with animals than they do plants. (Not that it should matter to the vegans, because as far as we know fungi still can't feel anything)
As an elitist, speciest bastard, yeast aren't an animal product. Veganism is about animal cruelty. If you want to start a new fungal rights movement, be my guest.
Honey is produced by a kind of farming of bees, an animal. Yeast just kinda is and grows
There is both wild and cultivated yeast.
Sure, but it just is and grows, in the cultivation vats
LOL, you silly. Vegans would have to live in TSMC clean-rooms their entire lives to avoid consuming yeast, and it probably wouldn't work.
NO YEAMST NO VEMGAN MEAT PLANT YOU NO YOU WRONG BE NO TECHNICALLY NONO U ASS. DUMB.
How was it that "bon apetit" got meme slid into "osteoporosis."
Bon apetit
bone apetite
bone atrophy
osteoporosis
I just watched a slightly boomerbait youtube video where a bunch of English high school kids try American barbecue and sides, and apart from the sweet tea, the only thing most of them disliked was the cornbread, though to be fair half of them decided that because it looked like cake it was supposed to taste like cake.
Silly Brits. The stuff that tastes like cake is the stuff that looks like bread.
You forgot to smother it with brown stuff
I do love literal wording like this. Cheesecake also comes to mind, just slap some Monterey Jack onto my birthday cake, thanks.
In the UK, it's not unusual at Christmas time to have a piece of christmas cake (fruit cake with fondant icing) with a slice/lump of mature cheddar cheese. Not sure if it's specifically for the taste or to aid with your mandatory 12000 calories per day intake over the festive period. Either way, it's bloody tasty.
