Why does anyone play fantasy football? This is not a trick question, although it's also not particularly difficult to answer. Perhaps they do it for money, or they enjoy football, or they want a shared activity to help stay in touch with friends or family. Whatever the reason, the fun is in picking your guys and managing your little team and hoping you win more often than you lose. Some people have a healthier relationship to this endeavor than others. Still, if none of it appeals to you, then you can always not do it.

Dunno. A lot of kids have their mmorpgs running on autoplay in meetings these days. So maybe just par for the course?

    Being honest I don't follow football, I tried hard and couldn't give an actual fig, but I do envy my friends when they have their little league. I settled by listening to their victories and defeats, and playing my piece as someone who knows nearly nill about it. It became an inside joke to have my comments, which tend to be uninformed, unrelated rants.

    I don't see how using AI to do my picks would help me in any way.
