Source on a high up in the Russian military saying it would be 3 days?
βThat is not the question,β Putin reportedly said. βBut if I wanted to, I could take Kiev in two weeks.β
Not three days, but two weeks have also long passed, no?
You want a source for something I haven't stated? π
His buddy Lukashenko was convinced that it takes only 3-4 days. That's what I'm quoting. https://x.com/nexta_tv/status/1498185064617762816
a high up in the Russian military
Why this specifically? Oh, right, because the narrative actually was widely peddled by Russian propaganda and its closest ally Belarus/Lukashenko: https://x.com/nexta_tv/status/1498185064617762816 ("3-4 days at most")
So you have to raise the standards in order to save Russian propaganda from its own arrogance and delusions. Nice try, but no.
Why this specifically?
Because who gives a fuck what anyone else has to say about a military operation?
Sadly, a whole bunch of people who've eaten up Russian propaganda do give a fuck.
The whole 3 day military operation thing sounds a lot like western propaganda if nobody in charge of Russian troops said it, lol.
If we gave you one you wouldn't accept it anyway so crawl back to your .ml hole
Sure I would, I love facts and sources! Hit me!
Letβs test it out. If you are genuinely interested in an answer to βwhere did the idea of a 3-day special military operation come from?β, here are some facts and sources. I suspect you put those qualifiers in there so you can dismiss them but letβs find out.
Thereβs a few along those lines.
- 3 days, and official: a report of victory from state-run media about the conquest of Ukraine, released on 26 feb 2022 (and then quickly removed): https://www.newsweek.com/state-run-russian-news-site-accidentally-declares-ukraines-defeat-1683455
- not Russia but Russian ally Lukashenko: https://x.com/nexta_tv/status/1498185064617762816
- not 3 days but a massive underestimate from Putin: https://time.com/3259699/putin-boast-kiev-2-weeks/

If you think asking for a source is confrontational I don't think you're going to enjoy your time here on the internet, lol.
Fine, Russia themselves didn't say 3 days it was a intelligence report. Your point is made.
However, Russia's Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was quoted as saying it would last "until 2025", and that wasn't until about 18 months into the invasion. It's well past that. The point that they haven't completed their invasion even in their own quoted timeline still stands.
