Reform has said it had opened investigations where activists or members had “clearly behaved inappropriately”, adding there was “no room for racism” in the party.

If there's no room for that they'll have to fire most of their staff, and then they'll only be left with the ones who are only corrupt.

no room for racism

It’s not a room. It’s more like a warehouse.

Yeah. What is the point of Reform if it's not virulent racism? That's their major appeal!

Being completely amoral for a moment, there seriously are better alternatives for every other policy position. Greens for anti-corpo politics, Labour for neoliberalism, Lib Dems for desperately chipping away at the edges of neoliberalism, etc.

This is what Reform actually believe. Like all racists they are too cowardly to admit that they're racists.

Remember this the next time you're asked to go easy on reform voters. They're Nazis.

These stories are not the gotchas the journalists think they are. Anyone who cares about whether someone is a racist already isn't going to vote for Reform, anyone who would vote for Reform either doesn't care that the party is full of racists or actually likes that.

It might deter some more centre-right Tories from supporting Reform. They might have been thinking "yeah I like Nige, I think we need to stop the boats" but then they might think "err I don't want to be seen as racist, I could lose my job".

So will Zia Yusuf, Muslim "chairman" of Reform finally realise he's a self-loathing useful idiot hated by everyone else in reform because of his religion and step down?

    See also Nadim Zawahi.

I'm not surprised these people exist. I'm surprised how often the seem to rise to power. I think we need to do better due diligence on these assholes and let them be plumbers and mechanics, not leaders.

People like easy answers for difficult problems, they like over confident weenies like Trump or Farage or Boris who promise to do a quick and cheap fix to something that would take decades to unpick. We have systematic issues because of more boring but corrupt politicians like Blair or Cameron

I'm just waiting for the 'Undercover reporters discover the one good apple in the barrel' story about Reform candidates.

    That's not a headline - it's a natural corollary for reform members.

Reform candidates come in three types. Those motivated by crazy neoliberal ideology based on the sociopathic views of Ayn Rand (“The virtue of selfishness”) Hayek and Friedman. Both social Darwinists who thought that the markets should decide everything. Xenophobic, usually homophobic, and some overtly racist. Some just want to enrich themselves at the expense of others, seek attention, and thirdly a hate fuelled repugnant mixture of both. Inept, ignorant, incompetent, stupid, perverted, or deranged.
