If you have a Facebook account. You support this. No excuses. You have had plenty of time to make arrangements and adjust.

You 100% are participating in the financing of this shit.

Except for all the local government departments who only provide information on Facebook, and Facebook who loves to sign-in wall information.

It's absolutely infuriating, but it is an unfortunate reality that many will be unwilling to not have a Facebook account simply for that reason, even if they don't actively engage on Facebook.

This and several other reasons make absolutes like yours somewhat unworkable. Participating and being "part" of Facebook means you're supporting it. Having an account does not as there are innumerable reasons to have an account that don't involve supporting Facebook, they are not difficult to think of.

Yes. There is no “even if”. If you have an account- you support everything they do. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Either you’re willing to make a sacrifice to uphold your beliefs or your believes are only such so long as they aren’t inconveniencing you.

Big tech really needs to be broken up. Especially Meta, Google and Amazon are way too large for their own good.

    It was a test.

Meta is seeing what they can get away with, and the answer is “a lot.”

Meta is also meddling with Brazilian elections. The left wing party had their posts reach hindered by "technical problems", and the Meta AI last week would gladly generate images with the first name and number of the right wing candidate, but refuse to generate images with the left wing candidate number or name. It has been better filtered after the electoral court questioned Meta about it, but TODAY someone tested asking for a fictional presidential candidate, and the AI "accidentally" added the right wing candidate's number (on the left of the image).

Oh wow it is really happening now. I mean they always helped to influence elections, but now they are just another arm of the corrupt government.

Never ever ever rely on the oppressor or the network/platform of the oppressor to get information to the oppressed.

This is a great link to share with people who are like "I gotta use corporate social media, that's where all the people are!"

If you start actually reaching them with a message the corporate fools don't like, they'll just shut you down. The only winning move is to GTFO
