It’s a shame idiots didn’t listen to those of us who said exactly what would happen. You fucked around. Now you found out. And in the meantime the rest of us got screwed. Gee, thanks.

I’ll never understand how they could ignore literal millions of loved ones and trust a rich spoiled known scammer to change things for the better for them and not himself, on top of all of us explicitly saying he and republicans will purposely crash the economy and hurt innocent people for fun in the name of religion and conservatism.

'The most uneducated buffoon in history stands at a podium, bloated with self-importance, lips pursed like a carnival barker ready to sell turd milk to the unsuspecting. He grins a grotesque smirk stretched across his face—as he scrawls his name onto a hollow decree, a sham celebration of the dismantling of knowledge itself. The Department of Education falls, not with a bang, but with wheezing verbs, suffocating under the weight of his own staggering ignorance. Surrounding him are the usual suspects: cowards in expensive suits, servile sycophants clapping like trained seals, and opportunistic ghouls picking clean the bones of democracy. Liars, fools, and thieves all parasites fattening themselves on the hardships of the many. They stand in rigid formation, dead-eyed and soulless, their allegiance sworn not to country, not to principle, but to power, and the dark, festering rot that clings to it. And there he is the convicted wrong, the living embodiment of septic tank spew, his voice a noxious fog of grift and grievance. He lectures the world on right and wrong, irony clawing at the walls, desperate to escape the grotesque theatre of his moral void. The stomach turns, the air curdles, and for a moment, history itself recoils watching, in horror, as the great American experiment teeters on the precipice, led by a man who could not spell "precipice" if his life depended on it.'

As a non-American, I repeatedly got told to shut up and mind my own business when I complained about Trump. Well, he got elected and fucked the US, and fucked the rest of the world, and he's threatening to invade my country so it turns out it was my business after all. Cheers for that.

The Gen Z Trump voters might be the dumbest people on the planet right now. Genuinely.

Like, you expect the boomers to be stupid and impressionable, because ::gestures around::, but not the younger folks.

These people will live with their shame for a lifetime.

I'm finding it difficult to understand why you think younger people are somehow less stupid and impressionable?

That's almost a by-definition sort of expectation here.

Young people are stupid and impressionable, just like how older people are less physically capable.

Impressionability is literally a defining aspect of being young and still having a developing brain. This is also why it's such a huge fight to corrupt our education system.

Don't cry, Zoomers. At least you don't have to live under the socialist tyranny of health care, time off from work, and fully funded public services.

    socialist tyranny of health care

Lot of Gen Z is under 26, which means they can be under their parents healthcare. Have a coworker that's in that and until my job he didn't realize healthcare costs for insurance that comes out of paychecks. Like I told him, save up while he can be under his parents insurance.

But anyone older than, at this moment, being born after 10/18/2000 is now falling into the insurance pile.

Sucks... but this is the choice the country made.

Gee, it's not like we warned you, pointed to the pile of shit his first term was and how terrible things got, and before his first term we pointed to all the awful shit he did that he fucking bragged about doing, along with all his failed business dealings (how the fuck do you bankrupt a casino in Atlantic City?) and then pointed out all his shady connections to Russian oligarchs and criminal gangs with believable if difficult to prove implications that much of his income was built on laundering money.

But no no, he TOTALLY was going to do things right this time and lie with every other breathe.

I don't even feel sorry for you fucking morons anymore, if you voted for Trump there really is no excuse anymore.

Because of their media bubble, they're still raging that grocery stores got rid of single use plastic bags, incandescent light bulbs have been replaced by LEDs, pronouns, electric cars (they're bad), and being asked to turn their air conditioners up during heatwaves to avoid brown outs.

It's not about the kids tho...

The same decline appears outside the United States. Horvath told senators that across roughly 80 countries, academic performance drops after digital technology becomes widely embedded in classrooms. The timing alone raises serious questions about how learning environments affect cognitive development.

It's about how instead of making them think, we taught them to just fucking Google shit and believe what it says.

"Oregon Trail generation" who grew up using computers but still having to learn legacy methods was the sweet spot, and there's absolutely nothing stopping us from returning to that.

Absolutely none of us use the Dewey Decimal system, but having to go to libraries and physically walk around pulling cards and finding books built critical thinking.

Typing in "Harry Potter" on a computer and getting a PDF doesn't build any skills.

The human brains biggest strength is offloading and being lazy. If the system thinks it doesn't need skills because they can be offloaded, it just won't learn them. Then at 22-23 when it's harder to learn those skills, gen z is finding out they actually need them.

They can be helped, but what's more important is making sure all those little kids right now start getting real educations again.

ITT: People act smug about Gen-Z when in fact 54% of them voted Harris... And OLDER WHITE MEN were Trump's biggest voting block once again.

...and that's a repeating pattern for Republicans. Stop letting old white men off the hook just because it's more "expected" for them to be shit.

What's more blaming young people is just a way to get MILLENNIALS to BECOME rightwing/old in their opinions.

Gen-Z are fine they're just out there with no idea, trying shit. Like every generation has to in order to find themselves.

The fact that only 54% voted for Harris is the reason why Gen-Z gets so much hate.

Everybody expects old white men to vote Conservative. Meanwhile Gen-Z was born into the era of ubiquitous internet access. They've had access to the entire world's knowledge from the very moment they learned to read. So what's their excuse? They didn't have to just blindly follow whatever they told you to believe on the TV and in the newspaper, they've had access to cold, hard facts from the very beginning.

Therefore it is mind-blowing to me that a whopping forty six percent of them could manage to be this ignorant and dumb, when all they gotta do is pull out their always-online pocket computer and read to easily figure out that MAGA is completely and utterly full of shit.

Bottom line is that old white men at least had an excuse for ignorance at one point. Gen-Z never did. And that's why they deserve the most criticism out of any voting-age generation IMO.

For people who are mad about voting for him, why did you do it? His first term confirmed that Trump is completely serious about what he says, it's not a joke or pandering, he's actually what he potrays himself as. He sits around the White House shitting his pants and demanding blow jobs.

“Trump Is the festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a bar-stool drunk, and the greed of a hedge-fund ghoul all spray-painted orange and paraded like a prize hog at a county fair. Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it is not but has always been arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshiped like gospel. It is America’s shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it does not just lose its soul it shits out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader. The Trump regime this carnival of third-rate strongmen, grifters, sycophants, and sadists is not innovating anything. It is copying. It is importing the authoritarian model wholesale. They have read the Putin playbook, dog-eared the best parts, and now they are running it in real time. And the cruelty? That is not a flaw in the system. That is the system. Trump, a failed businessperson and serial conman, did not stumble into power because he had a vision. He stumbled into it like a raccoon into a jewellery store: overwhelmed, opportunistic, and desperate to grab everything shiny before the lights come on, He brought with him a gang of similarly hollow, self-serving goons parasites in flag pins who recognized that brute force and spectacle could serve as a perfect cover for mass-scale corruption. All they needed was enough boots, enough masks, and enough Americans too scared or too exhausted to resist. Americans must avoid being overwhelmed by the torrent of frightening moves the Trump administration has made. Instead resist the paralysis that might result from that torrent, for the sake of both you and our patriotic predecessors who fought for freedom and defeated fascism in Europe in World War II.”

They voted for him again, anyway, and then they blamed "boomers. Hopefully, they'll change their vote.

In 2016, Trump promised to appoint Supreme Court justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade. Over the course of his presidency, he followed through on this catastrophic commitment, stacking the federal judiciary with staunch abortion opponents, including three Supreme Court justices who voted in 2022 to overturn Roe and with it the federal right to abortion in a case called Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

Trump promised he was going to do a whole bunch of incredibly controversial stuff, most of which isn't done due to extensive proof that it's a bad idea.

... then they're somehow surprised it went poorly?

It's the anti-intellectual plague that continues to drag us down, e.g. "The experts are pretentious; I trust my Facebook friends more."

Maybe they should stop rizzing and gooning and do their fucking homework before voting (or not voting).

Treat it like a fucking video game if you want. The data is all there and readily available on the characters. The stats show that one character is way, way, way, way, way better. Choose that character.

It's not like both characters are equal, despite what a TON of dipshits and bots would like you to believe.

If you were duped in by the anti-war message after his first term even, I mean, come on. You are pretty slow.

And really, that can't be helped. They can vote and drive and buy guns and make families and everything. We know for a fact that there's a third or so of our population that are absolutely intellectually impaired.

Then, another large portion are ignorant, they act impulsively and have wishful thinking, even if they're pretty smart. They just think that they "know" things, while not having the faintest idea... these are usually of the religious variety.

Another quite significant portion have mental illness that influences their reality, like narcissistic and sociopathic and depressive features.

Then, another large portion are alcoholics and drug addicts. This is often paired with another feature

They're all just walking around and driving cars and on the bus and the train and planes, they are everywhere and any one of them can do anything at any time. Who knows why they voted for who? They don't even know. it's amazing that we can make it through the day, really

Gen Z should regret their vote just based warfare. Let me explain exactly how this affects them specifically.

Trump promised no more wars then proceeds to abduct the president of Venezuela, attack Iran without giving a reason and then constantly talk about taking over countries. You think the acts of war stop with Iran?

The newly renamed Department of War has a finite amount of service people available for wars. Gen Z you are first in line to be drafted when more people are needed.

Your personal legacy will be struggling financially in a s@&t economy until you are required to put your life on the line for a government who sees you as a disposable resource for a war that could have been entirely avoided. That's just my personal fear though. Maybe they aren't worried about that.
