If nintendo wants to treat Canadian customers like second class citizens, charging us more for tariffs we didn't impose and then not giving us sales, then I don't feel bad about pirating every single nintendo product moving forward.

I saw this and the exploit game, SmileBASIC 4.4.9, appears to still be available on the Nintendo Store in the US, but appears to have been removed in some countries. I don't have a Switch 2, however, and even buying it if you can't download it immediately means it'll probably be patched on Nintendo's servers, making any redownload fail to redo the exploit. So if you have a Switch 2, I'd suggest downloading that game ASAP.

In any world where AI companies didn't corner the semiconductor market and if Switch 2 was $300, I'd probably rush out and buy one. But at $500, I can't justify it out of fomo. I'll just hope that the exploit leads to more general exploits in the future. But there's a good chance Nintendo will have a hardware revision in the next few months, and this Switch 2 model will be like the discontinued fusee gelee exploitable Switch 1 model.
