If it weren’t for that car, I’d think this photo was taken in the seventies.

Possibly it was, and Doc Brown just couldn’t get his hands on a DeLorean to use as a Time Machine.

“Sorry, Marty, I couldn’t find a DeLorean in good enough condition, and like fuck I was gonna use a CyberTruck, so this Hyundai ELANTRA will have to do. By the way, what the fuck are you wearing?”

Homie looks like he's about to drop the hottest commit of 1999.

Personally, I don't think insulting random passersby for their clothes is alright. But then I'm probably just old-fashioned.

Old fashioned? I’m old and all people did when I was younger was make fun of each other’s fashion choices. It was a bonding experience.

Sure. But a thirteen year old saying stuff like that to an adult? OK OK, you can fax my geezer certificate to the nearest Blockbuster. I'll pick it up tomorrow.

Where did you live that thirteen year olds were tight lipped and respectful to adults on the street, let alone a skater? I was a skater, and talking shit back to adults was a requirement if you were to be accepted in the skater community. Adults were even worse about talking shit to skaters back then, these days half the adults were skaters or were friends with some, so it’s largely ignored or accepted now. Back then most of our peers talked shit to us skaters because they watched too much Family Ties and thought acting like Alex P Keaton would get them a better job at their dad’s investment firm.

Quite astute for a 13 year old.
