I've never seen "not enough" and "kudzu" in the same sentence.

You'll be driving along thinking, "Oh, what a nice day! What beautiful countryside!", until you realize ALL the green is kudzu vines and everything under it is dead.

I think they mean that "weed" is not strong enough of a word to describe it.

Ugh I have a bad allergic reaction to pokeweed. One IS too much. Yet I have to weed it anyway and nearly die in the process.

I remember reading an article about how unkillable and fast growing kudzu vines were as a kid, but that was in the 90s and the US is still there

They made a five to six multiple-fold overestimation of the average growth rate of that plant. Funnily enough Switzerland is currently facing a kudzu issue.
