Good on then for taking money in from idiots. This whole article is a fools dream.

Nothing outlined in this article requires or is improved by crypto, NFTs or the blockchain.

Everything described could be added to Fediverse as it exists today. It would require zero extra effort. It could also be added to Reddit or Twitter, but if you want to it to be decentralized then it has to be on Mastodon/Lemmy/PeerTube/etc.
