There was never any point in history (before now) where quickly rising measles, polio, and nazism were seen as, err, fine because that’s a personal choice or viewed as hysteria.

Ignorance is nothing new, but people are so freaking entitled now.

I mean, there were plenty of apologists for the Nazis when they were quickly rising, or those content to dismiss them as harmless rabblerousers, and plenty of antivaxxers before the modern day.

We just tend to forget those who were on the wrong side of history.

You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
