In shorter races, this is normal and funny to watch. My wife likes to run, but she’s not fast. So, she places herself in the last group. Last half marathon, she saw the first place arriving before she could start the race.

This is amazing!! I couldn't dream of even running a 100 mile let alone beating everyone and being in bed before the next competitor!!
