Pretty much the title. I have time to go see a movie this week, but can't decide between Novocaine and Mickey 17. No spoilers, please and thank you.

Edit: Thanks for the input all, I've decided to see Novocaine based on your comments.

I did not like Mickey 17 much, to be honest. It's supposed to be a comedy, but it's so dry... They try to make you care at some point, and it doesn't work. Also, the cloning sci-fi part is also irrelevant for the final plot.

Haven't watched Novocaine, but by the looks of the trailer, I can tell you there's a lot more of fun action sequences than Mickey 17, if you are into that.

Same. It's cute at times, and I applaud the actors for making a go of it. Frankly, I kept falling out of focus so often that I ended up coming back to it about halfway through. 🤷🏼‍♂️ It stumbled over the finish line slightly better than anticipated, so there's that; it could've been Romulus bad.

Huh? The "cloning sci-fi" thing drives the entire plot from start to finish? I don't want to give too many spoilers away but I'm actually super curious about how you could come to that conclusion?

spoiler Mickey 17IMO it does not drive the story at all. The bugs plot was going to happen anyway, which is the culminating story, and the cloning thing becomes just a gimmick to make some jokes. I expected it to be a much more integral part.

Mickey 17 should be better.

Depends on if you want a partly funny allegorical sci fi flick vs (what seems to be) an all out action comedy

Mickey 17 was great. Go see it.

I would choose Novocaine instantly, it looks like the Max Payne movie we never got!

Novacaine is my favorite recent movie. Fantastic, saw it in theaters not long ago

Mickey 17 is already slated for Blu Ray/UHD on May 13th so... 49 days? If you can wait less than 2 months...
