  • no official updates, especially targeted patches
  • SIP mods can disable/reduce integrity protection
  • obsolete drivers
  • malware target since security features have been relaxed
  • no gatekeeper
  • notorization framework sketchy support
  • kernel extensions being phased out entirely soon
