Edit: from the comments it looks like Gerband is way superior to Tesa and also from Germany.

Best of all, with Tesa you get 50 m instead of just 3M

Even I last longer than 3m

But Tesa gaffer tape is shit.

At least in a professional setting it is frowned upon because it leaves a lot of glue residue on floors and cables, which is a pain in the ass to clean.

Gerband is also German and the way better product, at least regarding gaffers tape.

Updated the post. Thanks for the feedback!

And their packing tape snaps. I'm packing removal boxes and the boxes keep popping open because the stupid tape breaks constantly at the corners.

Don't buy any of them. The absolute best is Gerband from Thomann. Sticks very well, but isn't as nasty as Tesa. It's made for events so it's also easy to remove after a few days. Hands down my go-to tape. https://www.thomann.de/intl/gerband_gewebeband_258_schwarz.htm

This is the correct link:

https://www.thomann.de/intl/gerband_gewebeband_258_schwarz.htm

It's not /en/, it's /intl/ for English.

I'm partial to the Japanese Nichiban gaffa tape, it's great and inexpensive, doesn't leave residue (pretty strong though if you're gonna use it on delicate surfaces).

Wurth is a pain to buy in my country. They only sell directly to professionals, as in mechanics, tool shops, carpentries, etc, and don't have shops open to walk in customers.
