How fortunate then, that Jesus has blessed us with the intelligent, lucid, and ethical Donald Trump. /s

Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. I don't think the "/s" was required.
I know Poe's law and all, but surely no-one could think that was serious.
This is MAGA-type thinking you're demonstrating. Democrats massively fucked up the 2024 election. It is important that those lessons be studied, learned from, and not repeated. Yes, Trump is worse, but that's completely irrelevant to the conversation at hand. We have another Trump term precisely because of the mistakes the DNC made during the election. Failing to listen to those mistakes doesn't help Democrats, and it doesn't help the country. Failing to learn from the mistakes of 2016 and 2020 are how we ended up with 2024 after all.
Do not for a second think Trump or some other MAGA candidate cannot win in 2028. Regardless of how bad Trump governs, even ignoring the potential for election shenanigans, it is entirely possible that Trump will win again in 2028. And every person that sticks their fingers in their ears and ignores all criticism of elected Democrats makes that event all the more likely.
Democrats ran on "we're not Trump" in 2016, 2020, and 2024. That strategy lost them both 2016 and 2024, and it would have lost them 2020 if not for covid.
Yet here you are, still trying the same tired "we're not Trump" strategy. You're clearly insane, as you keep trying the same thing again and again, expecting a different result.
So glad I didn't vote for him in 2024.
Guess I'd better Be Clean, Vote Green.
what do you make of the overwhelming downvotes for all articles/links critical of biden on .world?
I've heard it's where all of the Reddit exiles signed up. I have no idea if it's true or not, but it sounds plausible. I remember when people pointed out factually inconvenient things about Biden on Reddit, they'd get downvote-bombed.
that's what i was and did; so this makes sense
I don't think the problem is as bad on all the .world communities, but it certainly is embarrassingly bad on a few of them. I could speculate as to why but I don't know anything for certain, so I'll just try to keep posting things I think people should be reading.

This is a terrible headline but the article is on point. Biden's hubris contributed to Trump's victory, and the Democrats are unwilling or unable to look in the mirror and admit they did something wrong. It's a repeating pattern of self destruction that has been since Carter.
I wish it was self destructive but the people at fault here don't get destroyed at all, they've been happily moving from job to job in DC for thirty years or more while the Democratic party and the country has gotten destroyed
It's almost as if they're running fence for the GOP
Well, hopefully these were among the people Trump fired
They weren't, they're still being paid as campaign consultants and think tank writers and pundits and etc., totally different realm of people than the non-partisan public servants Trump has been attacking
If we do end up in a fascist hellhole here, a lot of the blame will go to both Biden and RBG. If they both yielded to younger leaders at the proper time, we would not be quite so fucked over now.
If? Feels like we're already there. It can, and will, get worse, but we're already sending American children to death camps and putting dissenting politicians in prison.
Facts get downvoted here, neat. Glad that "Nuh uh, my politician is better" is still on track when he failed to stop Trump and most of his promises.
At least .ml is honest in what they support, downvote, and remove.
There's a huge difference between an article being mass downvoted by salty users who don't want to face an unpleasant truth and an article being removed by salty moderators who won't let their users even be passingly exposed to that truth. I've experienced that first one on .world but I haven't ever had a problem with the second yet.
I can see the difference, but both still make people never question their thought bubble and echo chambers.
I just find it funny (for lack of a better term) that .world says its better, but just banned one of my favorite users for using citations aginast a moderator.
My future was cast into the sea
My future was burned at the altar of an octogenarian’s hubris
Now do an article on trump’s “extraordinary physical strength and stamina” medical report
Dude! Come on, Trump is astonishing! He can almost drink water from a small glass or bottle one handed and he only needs one marine to help him go down a 15 degree ramp. He's like a god!
But that was point and how Hitler rose to power
One wolf party and one wolf in sheep's clothing party
