I was told that I am overreacting when I compared Trumplon's first weeks in office to Hitler's frist weeks in office.

But I can understand that I am probably better informed about US politics than most people around me (I'm not in the US or USian).

So for me it comes down to how long they stick to that narrative before admitting that maybe we weren't exaggerating.

PS: the road to fascism looks very jpeggy.

They usually never do. Just at some point they start declaring they always thought so, too.

At the same time they'll ask why you didn't say something sooner

A nice video on this topic made just as Trump took office. My Rubicon was crossed before then. But it's a good way to remind yourself of where you are and where you were at previously. A good video to share to some normies that keep telling you you're overreacting. They need to know where the Rubicon is. Otherwise they'll just keep justifying each small step.

I've started sharing this video as well. My Rubicon hasn't been crossed yet. But he's getting close.

  • Congress failing to hold trump accountable
  • the SC ruling that Presidents are Kings
  • a candidate disqualified from holding Federal office under Section 3 of Article 14 of The Constitution now occupying the White House
  • a man who, just to be clear, is a proven rapist, 34 times convicted felon, and a serial failure at business by any metric
  • Plus the multitude of Constitutional Crisis moments just the past couple weeks

I'm just not sure what more anyone needs to feel that line has been long ago crossed.

To their defense, that’s what they also heard when they complained about the woke mind virus, immigrants eating pets and schools turning children trans.

Well, it would’ve been a good defense if any of those things were real.

It didnt help when the Liberals started agreeing with the Fascist nonsense to only offer Fascism Lite. Like, when Harris started having "build the wall" campaign ads I knew were we truly fucking lost.

"What do you mean I'm exaggerating by beating this trash >insert minority here<?

C'mon man, be civil towards your fellow brothers and sisters and stop overreacting"

*Some fascist nut, probably
