- Elon Musk's "grok" AI makes CSAM now. There really isn't much more nuance to it than that. It has the ability to make underwear deepfakes of anyone you ask it to.
- Despite knowing this, he hasn't shut it down, and just seems to find it funny
- the UK government is discussing banning X in the country because of this.

- Donald Trump took over Venezuela? He kidnapped Maduro, who is now sitting trial in New York.
- He wants to have Greenland now. Has discussed bribing them into joining the USA.
- Iran seems to be having a revolution. Might have beeb incited, in part, by American and Israeli operatives.

Israel has been using drones that play sounds of women screaming and flying them over refugee camps in Gaza and Palestine. Just to psychologically torture survivors.
This has made me realise how little news I actually pay attention to
Good list, but I think there are a few things to add/modify:
- Trump hasn't just discussed bribing Greenlanders, he's also repeatedly floated the idea of taking it by force.
- the US is recalling non-essential staff from its embassies in Israel and Lebanon, fueling speculation that Israel is about to attack Iran. (IMO this might unfortunately put a damper on that revolution you mentioned.)
- In Minnesota, ICE murdered a white woman who was a citizen and bystander (not protestor) and who was just trying to obey ICE's instruction to leave. This has caused not only massive protests but also relatively strong condemnation of ICE by the state government, bringing the US even closer to civil war.

The Yogscast did a dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol while raising money for charity, which was pretty good.
Capitalists surrendered all over the world. They gave up acting like dicks, or were they assholes or cunts? Hard to say but what matters is that they all stopped being what they were, aka people willing to screw everyone and their mother in order to earn half a cent more. They stopped polluting our drinking water and our food, too. And all that happened under the bright leadership of the USA and its new emperor that suddenly realized he had it all wrong. That hate, anger, lies, manipulations and violence were not the way to go. A real change, from the dude we can all agree.
Billionaires are now distributing their fortune to charities, while firms like Apple and all the others have started designing 100% repairable and upgradable devices that will last for decades that they sell with almost zero profit margin. YT shows no ads (ads have almost disappeared online too, like tracking). Most news channels have been closed down for extreme toxicity. Most administrative and most of the teachers in universities have been replaced by competent leadership and teachers that, in a true revolutionary shift, focus again on teaching kids and students instead of pushing their own political agenda and ideologies.
Heck, even fast foods started selling quality food.
