    Mmm, yeah. Both are very good but I think O aligns more with my general taste. If you like Venus, have you read The Image? I mean, all three of these are really about different variations on the same plot, a kind of sexual handoff playing with the power game between cuckholdry and domination.

    All of these are great movies too. Vintage porn is more than a meme it reallt does deserve to be watched for the plot.

    I have read The Image and have seen the film! Both are French, though I read translations. My favorite of the three is Venus, though only because I think it captures masochism best of the three. O is also very well written, but I think it doesn't capture the experience of submission quite as well as Venus does.

    Yeah, I probably agree with you. I just personally prefer Emmanuelle. I am partial to its particular kind of pondering philosophy and I find it’s use of the exotic setting engaging in a way I liked. But Venus is probably the most successful, as you say, at communicating the uniting experience.
