Something like the capes in Andor, I always liked the look. Any time I've looked up capes/cape jackets though, they've been too expensive or non vegan. Also boots, I'd wear those shin/knee high boots a lot too (idk what they're called), but idk if I got the legs for those.

A cape or cloak can be fairly easy to make.

Thrift shops can have cheap sheets and blankets of sometimes suitable material, or on a lucky day, rolls or large remnants of good fabric even.

I am kind of jealous of ancien regime French aristocrats. They were some of the last men in the west who was allowed and expected to dress flamboyantly. Menswear since then has all been dull imitations of military uniforms.

You can wear a regular coat or jacket as a cape, just be careful not to make any sudden movements,

Off topic a bit but how about a poncho?

Even more off topic - I did some googling and most of my results were meh. But I did find this and it goes hard.

I think poncho might be exactly what OP is searching for. Suggest search for streetwear poncho?

Poncho gives more structure than a cape, like if you just tie some fabric behind you.

What's the difference between a poncho that unzips and a cape that zips?

I was thinking specifically of Andor's fit when he poses as Varian Skye or a lot of the fits Tay Kolma wears.

E: streetwear poncho brought up good results, so that works too lol

I'm a sucker for a nice pair of boots and some kinda flowy gothy asymmetrical kinda cape/tunic thing

Capes are sick, cloaks, whatever. Over the shoulder drapey things. I always thought they looked fly as hell.
