This is just another way liberal democracy/capitalism acts like an abuser, lashing out and intensifying their abuse in a desperate attempt to make their victims submissive and subservient again.

With your first post, I thought you were doing the "but what about bajillion killed in Tiananmen Square thing" for a moment there. 😅 Glad that wasn't the case.
I don't blame you for being cautious. I honestly didn't consider that there could be a liberal or two around these parts.
I'm amazed people are acting shocked. It's not as if there aren't a plethora of examples throughout history of this always happening as a regime becomes a wounded dog.
