Singularity lol, any ai sub sucks if you were actually curious about technical info and its progress, they only would post sensationalized shit like full ai generation, nothing interesting like how davincis dropping ai magic mask, which should compete with ai plugins for adobe after effects, no idea if they drop a colormatching one but if they do resolves even more peak than it already is

evasion got me but it seems so odd I doubt anyone did it on purpose, I just commented on an alt on the front page and got insta perma banned, its dumb af because if they can detect that why not just keep me from seeing that subreddit or being able to comment in the first place

The 7 day ban followed by a permanent ban seems to be a pattern idk why they do that but its basically a guaranteed perm ban when the temp ban nears an end, happened to me too

Incels were wild to watch playout (theyd get brought up in comments occasionally and id go peek), they had woman in the group originally but then they said femcels werent real, then some dudes tried hookers and even they rejected them becuase of like hygiene issues, like bro not taking a shower isnt involuntary

I really like public endorsements in forums, when the comment/post shows the names of ppl who like it, it lets me know if I can trust an opinion, especially if I've seen those names before, which is common here.

Instead of ppl commenting seconded or I agree, they could endorse a post to publically show their name next to a like/upvote. The inverse would also be nice as well, downvote/disagree and show your username, both would be helpful information, becoming more valuable overtime.

As an addition to upvoting/downvoting, not replacing it.

Does it exist? I miss when YikYak was for hometowns and you could view other cities or comment/post there if in range. I don't like its current state after coming back. It was like the neighbour apps but less facebooky with a crowd under 50, was the ultimate local news source.

Is there a link preview addon? (like an image of the site) (lemm.ee)
 

I want to show a bunch of previews of websites on one page on a grid. The visual link preview addon just grabs an image from the page and the tagline, it doesnt actually show a site preview. Wpmains grid view of sites is a great example of what I want in the image. (Ik I can just take screenshots and get this done in minutes, I was hoping there was some dynamic addon that is easy to update)

By site preview I mean a literal preview of the website, thought that was obvious but the only adddon I've found for this purpose definitely doesn't do that.

Can I rent an 8 core 16gb vps and then put friendica, mbin, mastodon, and lemmy on it? Can I somehow use the same site to login to all of them or would it be like m.site, l.site, etc.

I use a hypervisor? enhance.com rnow to control my wordpress sites, can I still monitor/backup the servers with enhance while manually setting up fediverse instances? I could setup roles like nginx, mariadb, through it and when I do that it lets me easily setup, backup, and migrate websites to different servers I lose this functionality if I dont set up those roles through the panel. So I was wondering if I can set up those roles and then just setup the websites manually through ssh following the guides. Do they all use nginx other than friendica?

Interested in friendica, mbin, lemmy, mastodon, and peertube (going to rent another server and more storage eventually if I do that
