I think OpenAI has retracted some of them already. For OpenAI it’s a really low-risk thing: if it’s wrong, then just retract the paper. If it’s right though, the fame all goes to OpenAI. Meanwhile, people who spent their whole life researching on this topic, needs to confirm this manually for OpenAI.
(And obviously, the human using the AI should confirm the vulnerabilities themselves first before handing it to the maintainers)
As much as I advocate for human written code, we should also acknowledge that AI has gotten way more competent recently, esp. on the coding front. I think security and vulnerability scanning, (maybe together with code review?), should be the few valid uses of AI.
All knowledge is good knowledge!
Off-topic (somehow?) but I’ve always loved the look and feel of GNOME 3.8. The modern GNOME is too minimal and too corporate. Seeing the old one evokes some warm nostalgic feelings of fiddling with CentOS 7 back then. So it’ll be kinda cool if we have something like this, but for GNOME. And also KDE 4!
How is this possible when his dad just attempted a coup d’état? Do they have some really popular policies, or is Lula failing at somewhere?
Do people downvote this post based on the title alone? :(
No Pokémon for today? Aww.
It’s a very tiny device. Are there any prev owners here? Can you actually read from this? This is gonna take 4-5 flicks to advance the span of a normal book page, right?
