My hope is, if we can win and put the maga cult out of its misery, we can change this country significantly so nothing like this happens again. Then, and only then, can we begin to rebuild some trust.

I fear there might be too many people that will just want to go back to status quo, and not change things to prevent this from happening again. Especially since the banks and corporations will be wanting nothing to fundamentally change so they can keep exploiting people.

But hopefully I'm just being pessimistic

We have a large population that totally checks out of politics. There lives are rarely effected all that much by it... Until now. People are starting to wake up, the tides are beginning to change. It's happening a lot slower then it should have, and it's scary how far this regime is getting before we get our shit together, but it is slowly happening.

I think they had to strike a balance of "feels like what would actually happen in a game of DnD" and "we need to streamline some things to make it work as a movie." And I think they struck a decent balance. It was fun to see the times they failed a roll/skill check, and the creative solutions to problems.

I have come to the same conclusion. The realization comes with lots of fear and anxiety, but also a bit of peace. The earth has gone through many mass extinction events and recovered, so hopefully it will do the same after this. It is interesting that this extinction event is caused in part by a species living on it that can see what is going on, had opportunities to prevent/mitigate it, and chose not to.

I think him being the shareholder is the problem. I don't care if we was to step down as CEO, I want to see him hurt financially. Especially since he bought twitter off his Tesla stocks. Hit his stock hard enough and when it comes time to pay for twitter, he'll be fucked.

I usually buy my energy drinks from gas stations, so I guess I'll have to see what off brands they have. I am interested in mate, I'll have to see what's available near me. Thank you.

Damn, red bull is my energy drink of choice. Anyone got a good alternative that doesn't use alternative sweetener? So many of them use them and I can't stand the flavor they have.
